A little while ago I introduced you to a little ebook called "Seven Pints - Self Identified Heterosexual Men and the Male/Male Masturbation Fetish"



The author, Conran Thomas, proposes evidence gathered through several surveys that many men who view themselves as heterosexual enjoy watching other men masturbating.

The primary thing that struck me was the number of men who admit to watching porn showing men jerking their dick. Remembering that all the guys answering this question openly state that they are straight.

Is survey three, Conran asked the 400 guys responding to this particular set of questions whether they would choose to watch video of a woman masturbating or a man. 39.5% of these heterosexual men would PREFER to watch a guy jerking his dick.
He also asked the guys to explain what kinds of porn they enjoy. What isn't surprising is that the predominant choice was Heterosexual sex.
What is very surprising was that Male Duo/Group Masturbation was the second.
And that Male Solo Masturbation was the third.

In just these two questions, a massive 91% of all the heterosexual guys asked admit to enjoying porn of men masturbating. In one question or the other, they admitted that male masturbation is something that they enjoy watching.

Personally, I'm not surprised that it features highly. Men love their cock, and masturbation is probably the most common (and commonly overlooked) sexual fetish for men. It seems logical to me that if men love their cock so much, why wouldn't they enjoy seeing other men enjoying theirs too?

And that brings me to another aspect that fascinated me and supported what I thought before reading...

When asked their opinions of what OTHER men think, they consistently underestimated the desire men have for cock.

Only 44% of these guys think that MOST OTHER MEN like looking at dick.
39% believe that MOST OTHER MEN would masturbate another guy if they had the chance.
40% believe that MOST OTHER MEN would join a male friend if he found him masturbating.

The truth is, 94.5% of all the heterosexual men taking part admitted in one question or another that they would like to have a sexual encounter with another guy. This is primarily about masturbation, and the limit for most is jerking another guys cock.
Likewise, when reviewed across all relevant questions, a total of 66% believe that MOST OTHER GUYS would have a sexual encounter with another.

I think this shows that perceptions about OTHER men is the most limiting factor when it comes to male/male mutual masturbation.
Consistently, throughout the results, men repeatedly said that they like watching guys jerking their dick, and would love to do this or that with a friend, but that they didn't believe others did, or they didn't know how to approach the situation.

There are a couple of important notes to take away from this great book.
The first is that many more straight guys like watching other guys stroking their cock than was ever made clear before.
The second is that most straight men recognize that they would like a male/male sexual relationship, possibly limited to masturbating together, but that they think they are in a minority.

This book really does offer a lot. Conran doesn't pretend to be a sexologist or an analyst. He simply asked a lot of men a lot of questions, presents the data, and proposes why results are the way they are. A lot of the numbers are fascinating, and a lot of the research into the subject is relevant.

There are a lot more questions to explore, and Conran assures me that he's working on the next book already.
